Unhappy Turn Signal Problem on 2011 XJ

Left and right rear turn signal stops working intermittently. It can happen while driving, or when I next start the car, or the signals will work fine for a few days and then problems again. Jaguar dealer states there are no reported issues from other XJ owners.....WHO CARES I ask....I HAVE A PROBLEM!! I understand why they are asking, but they treat it as if "no one else has a problem, so there is no problem....". Any help would be appreciated. Thank you...

sometimes you just have to go to the dealership and tell them that they HAVE to fix the car, if they give you trouble you can call the head office in NJ

This is a safety issue - several more trips to the dealer without resolution might make it eligible for the lemon law... make sure to document your visits, and make sure the dealership's general manager knows that you are considering lemon law as a possible solution to your problem if they aren't able to give you satisfaction. I suspect they'll put a bit more effort into finding the problem.

No problems with mine, although the steering wheel has to be back in the complete straight ahead position for them to cancel.

I haven't noticed any problem with the turn signal but I did have to get use to the touch feature for just a few blinks for lane change vs engage position for sustained signaling.

I really like this feature because I usually just tap it a few times to change lanes and this does it automatically with one touch. My wife's car has the same feature, so Mercedes is now doing this too.

I too like the feature a lot but had to "learn it"...

Our Chevrolet came with that option . I really like it and I wish retrofitting was a possibility
