Default Undercar shielding

Took car to Firestone to check out a rattle under the car. Could not find it but it looks like there is a shield missing that covers the middle of the car and is attached to the front engine shield. Only thing I can figure out is at last oil change they removed it and forgot to replace it. There are tapped holes for mounting but nothing there and no fragments so it was not broken. Question is what is should there be a shield and what is it called? Any ideas on where to get a picture of the item on line?

Should have mentioned it is a 2008 XJ8L. The engine shield is in place. Is there another shield attached to that going towards the rear of the car? Or is there a grass shield under the catalytic converters? Appears there is something missing under there but have no idea what it is.

On my 2004 there is a panel that attaches to the front bumper. The back edge then connects to the large panel under the engine-which has to be removed to change the oil-and the rear edge of the engine panel attaches to the panels that cover the floor area from front wheel arch to rear wheel arch. They may have changed somewhat for the 2008 but I would think the panel layout would still be similar. Cary
