I'm hunting down a coolant leak.
Changed waterpump,thermostat housing, reservoir and some hoses.
Now I read about that "valley hose", so I searched through Jtis, but didn't find a section for this hose.

Does the 3.5 also have a "valley hose" or is this SC only ?

It does. Shows itself as a leak down the back of the engine. Mine was visible as a puddle behind the front driver's side wheel?

Sorry to ask, but is AJ89746 the partno for an old 3.5 V8 no SC ?
Some dealers write "XJ from G49701" , but mine is G09xxx.

I'm unable to find that hose in the part catalog. ( I spotted it within Jtis, when at disassembling the engine)
Is there a second hose for V8s like mine ?

It would be item no. 7 in the picture shown under the link.

It seems that both the 3.5 and the 4.2 n/a use the same part, which would make sense to me.

I ordered a hose to be prepared for spring
