Default Variable valve timing seals

The last small oil leak for me to fix on my 2004 x350 is the two lipped o ring seals on the top of the valve covers, surrounding the solenoids. Can I just pry the old seals up and seat on the new seals without taking the whole mess apart? I have no other oil leaks and it looks like an easy fix, too easy, in fact. Brandon

Default update?

Reggie, did you ever find this out? I see both of my variable valve timing seals are leaking up through the valve covers.
