Angry WANTED: Arnott Resistor for AS-2710 damper see picture

The resistor in my 2004 XJ8 Arnott, AS-2710, rear damper has gone Open Circuit and I need to replace it. I have attached 2 pictures of the resistor.

I called Arnott and they no longer sell just the resistor, therefore if ANYONE has replaced an Arnott AS-2710 damper that no longer works, I would love to buy the resistor from you!!!

Any help would be appreciated, even scrap dealers in Florida where I might find one??

Default I had a similar issue

I measured the dc resistance of a set of active shocks for a Suburban. Had to double it. But fault came back. Had used a 5 watt resistor. When to a 25 watt. No more. Seems like the GMshocks needed a 22 ohm.
The picture does not identify the resistor. Which component is it? None look like a resistor.

I've got some old busted Suncore front struts. The resistor might be the same. I have them in storage, but I'll check next time I get a chance.

The resistor is the part that is covered in white tape, and fits into the top of the Arnott damper.

You may be forced to repair yours, a computer repair person maybe able to replace the resistor for you.
