Warranty on Air Suspension

I have a 2004 XJ under the select warranty. Does anyone know if the air springs are covered. This is the econd time I took it in. The air system fault and vehicle too low came up. Dealer said car need air springs at a cost of 2600. How can both go at once, they say its a leak. Well its one side or the other . I know its sensible to replace both at the same time but would they both go bad at the same time???

no select doesnt cover the air springs, but they do cover the pump, and if the pump over pressurized the system and blew out the springs they would be covered

. But that is a HUGE streach. But it very doubtfull both front springs went out at the same time, more like they dont know which one, but if they properly ran the diagnostic flowchart theyde know which 1. If you disconnect the air valve blocks electrical connector in the trunk under the spare, the system wont add air. This will let 1 corner drop overnight more than the other, this will tell you which ones leaking.

I had the same problem with mine at around 55k, 2004 xj8 andI went ahead andreplacedthe bad air shock with one from a salvage yard for around 250 bucks and have not had any problems since, just make sure to cross referance the vin for your car and the salvage car, let me know if you need a good parts source. I had my mechanic replace and disconnect the battery to reset the compressor.
