Default water in the parking sensor?

Hi,

Brand new XJR, pulled out of a car wash...driving fine...when pulling up to a stop, a beeping noise starts going off...just like the parking sensor...as soon as you resume driving, the noise goes away...Also, when you put it in park or neutral the noise goes away...any ideas??

Thanks!

If it were mine, I would drop it off at my friendly Jag dealer. It should be more water resistant than that.

The car has front park aid as well as rear. If you look at the overhead console there should be a switch to disable the front park aid, it has a "P" on it.
