My biggest gripe WAS not having an aux input; I fixed that by adding the "Isimple 2351 HF Bluetooth module to the Nav/Radio; Now I have Bluetooth from either my phone or tablet, & it even tells/shows me which device is connected on the Nav screen as well as it shows the song titles etc...

The trunk for me is actually fine considering I come Infinitis;

So this ISFM2351 fits the standard FM antenna connector? Where is the antenna connector located? Can you post a photo of your installation please?

Cheers,
Wolfy

Cheers,

I did have to buy the antenna adapters (40-eu10 & 20). I actually got the install instructions from a post that as on here regarding the "satellite radio" install; I'll find the thread if need be; but it's the same thing (taking the middle bezel off, then the back vents, screws out, center console) it's really pretty simple. I'll find the thread(s)...

Thanks, I found the ISFM2351 on iCarKits.com... It says "Not compatible with M.O.S.T fiber optic vehicles" but I think our car has fiber optic! Does the adapter convert the fiber optic signal to FM?

Only one so far on the X350 - the horrible headlamp switch, (Hi/Lo). All the other switches/knobs are nice to use but this clunky horrible Ford thing??
Early days yet (only had it a week) and I absolutely love this car, but it is HUGE.

I'll get used to it, but I almost got trapped in a multi-storey car park the other day as the way out past the barrier was so small, I literally had inches either side. I think in total about 4, but you couldn't line up properly to go through as it was just after a full lock right angle. Who designed that? The parking aids were going Bananas. Not the cars fault though.

Only complaint: If the doors are locked and you toss the car keys in the trunk and close the lid, you can't open the trunk or unlock the doors.

You can if you have a waterproofed spare fob hidden behind a fog light and attached with a cable tie.

The valet key was clipped to my computer bag, which was in the trunk. My spare keys were in the house. Luckily, I was home and it wasn't too far of a walk.

My complaints....I really like the car, but there are a few small things.

1) The center console display ought to be higher in the dashboard for a couple reasons, while driving and needing to check out the map, your eyes don't have to wander as far from the road. Second, you ought to be able to select "POI" such as gas stations, hospitals or other important locations while the car is moving. My wife changes her mind all the time and it would be great if she could entertain herself searching POI while the car was mobile.
2) Windshield wipers....why couldn't they have built them so you can elevate them if snow is anticipated (and make it easier to change them).
3) If they'd made the gearshift differently, they could have put the cup holders up next to the gearshift. Now, since they're placed back, you have to lift your elbow and feel around for the cupholders. I almost never drink anything in the car so this is a very small knock. They fixed it on the XFs.

Oakley Minute 2.0's fit as well. I just picked up my Rx Oakley Half Jackets and they're a smidge too large for the cubby and I don't feel like mashing the most expensive pair of sunglasses I've ever owned! lol I paid more for them than I did my first motorcycle in 1990. Come to think of it, my first car was less than the glasses as well. 1978 Pontiac Sunbird Safari II Wagon in Camel Brown... lol

Now that I've had the car for a while adding:

1. The seat heaters must be turned on every time I start the car. The Audi I used to have had a six position switch and they stayed where I adjusted them.

2. The rear seat doesn't fold down. This was a nice feature that my S-Type had.

3. The trip computer goes back to the odometer. I would like it to stay where I set it (usually the range to empty).

4. The volume pre-sets on the touch screen don't work.

I don't have it on my XJ or XK and was feeling bad about not having it. Does it not work well? If it doesn't work well, I'm not going to feel bad about it.

Wind noise around the mirrors.

Oh, and I love the ACC but it does require a paradigm shift. Mine is currently INOP, so if there is someone who really dislikes theirs, I'd gladly take the working 2004 radar unit off their hands.
