Default Wheel Width for 19" and 20"

Hi folks, I'm a bit confused here. I thought I remembered reading that the width of the 19" and 20" wheels is 8.5" (which is disappointing because it's just a bit too small for 275s) But, doing a lookup on this website:

Jaguar XJ 2006 - Wheel & Tire Sizes, PCD, Offset and Rims specs - Wheel-Size.com

I see that they are supposedly 9.5"

Can anyone help clarify? If they are 9.5" I'm going to try to stuff 275s all around on the SuperV8 (slight fender rolling is okay, but I don't want to have to cut the liners. We'll see)

Cheers!

Well, I can't help you as my 2005 Jaguar XJ8L has 18" rims with 8.0" tread widths.

For the X350 2003 to 2010 the Jaguar Vehicle Specs document dated 2012 gives :

XJ: 2003 up to 2010MY

V6/V8 Gasoline N/A 8" x 18" 235/50R18
V6 Diesel 8" x 18" 235/50R18
NAS and Canada – N/A 8" x 18" 235/50R18
V8 SC 8.5" x 19" 255/40R19
NAS and Canada – N/A 8.5" x 19" 255/40R19
SVO option 8.5" x 20" 255/35R20

I have 19"Polaris and they are 8.5"

I just rechecked the tire tread widths of my 2005 XJ8L, and they're 8" all right.

There was never a 9.5" wheel factory fitted to the X350.

The 20" BBS wheels that were an option on the X350 are 9" wide ET49

Sepang
Callisto
Cremona
Selena
Takoba

All 20x9 ET49, the factory specification booklet is wrong "SVO Option" it's a misprint. The correct sizes are shown in the JEPC.

The 19" factory options were only 8.5" wide

Custom
Performance
Sabre
Polaris
Daimler Vela

All 19x8.5 ET49

9.5" was fitted to the X150 XK, X351 XJ, the XFR and now the F-Type. But you have to be careful of the offset if you want to run them on an X350, the rear wheels of the 4.2L XK were ET31 or therabouts, and they rub on the wheelarch of the X350...the 5.0L XK went to the ET49 when the rear axle changed for the E-Diff

Damn, no budget currently to shop for new wheels. As I said, I thought I had read that they were 8.5". Thanks to all for confirming!
