So we come here to fix, learn, teach and probably pull our hair out some while loosing the odd knuckle. Today, my 2006 XJ8 Named "HER" showed me why we do it. I MAY have had her less than a month and she MAY have been off the road more with different "issues" during that month than on the road, but today during a special work day trip, she showed me why.

We left the house at 4am from north Dallas down to Austin Texas getting there at 7:15am. Did a full work day and drove back again getting home at 8;30pm due to BAD Friday traffic. On this trip she sailed into 110,000 miles like it was nothing, was good on gas during a 427.7 round trip drive in a single day and never skipped a beat. Not even a blink of a light on the dash to stick her tongue out at me. She might have even showed she likes me a little....maybe.

Gentleman (and ladies)... days like this makes the stripped knuckles and hair loss all worth while. Thought I'd share the moment with ya :0)
