Although I'm not a big fan of dark window tinting (too gansta for my tastes), the realities of living in South Texas means an interior you can bake a cake in this time of year.

I found and had installed a tint that is more IR reflector than a tint. It's a ceramic film, made by Huper Optik, and it is terrific! It does have a mild tint, but you can still see into the interior. But when it's 100+ out, you can survive in the car long enough for the A/C to do it's thing. It's even possible to keep your hands on the steering wheel.

JagMaster, on the subject of windshields, can you explain what the "metal mesh" is in the Jag windshield? At least, that's what it looks like when I can focus on it good enough.

Thanks.

Sure thing, If you have an heated windshield you may see them and that mesh wires actually heat the windshield, and not the all the Jags come with that type of windshield you are lucky to have it (its optional). Most range rovers have heated windshields as well.
