I have an issue with an XJR of 2004.

In my X358 , when you lock the doors with the driver door or with the central button of dashboard you can unlock all doors from inside , just to pull the trigger of each door.

But in the XJR if you lock with driver door or the button , the other doors are totally locked.
But if you lock with the front Passenger door , you can open all the doors.

I try with SDD to take a look for the Dealers options but I see nothing to change.

After some try , now I can unlock the left rear Passenger door like in my X358.

I have no DTC for central locking but I have two DTC for the fuel sender unit with the REM module.

So have I a problem with REM ? Door lock ? Files configuration ?

Have you tried it with both keys? Possible one is transmitting and causing double lock situation. Make sure each is out of transmission range when trying the other.

With this car , I only have one key.

The double lock is normally desactivated.

I observed this fact too this week-end :

When I closed all doors by the front passender lock , if I open by the central button or driver door , passenger lock stay locked until I pull out the trigger of passenger door.

So , maybe it's the passenger who have a failure with electronic control.

It does sound as though the unlock mechanism/connection is not functioning properly. You could try SDD and watch the passenger lock function to see if it is working.
