X350 XJR Coilover Conversion BC Racing Kit Compatibility
Has anyone here done a coilover conversion on a 03-09 XJR using the BC Racing kit? Ive been trying to reach BC Racing but haven't had any luck with calls or emails, and I'm getting conflicting information from other sources.
Id love to hear from someone who's actually used the BC Racing kit on their XJR to confirm if it fits and performs well.
Heres the link to the BC Racing kit Im considering:
BC Racing Jaguar XJ Coilovers (03-10) BR Series

Simple to fit, they allow you to choose your ride height and offer 15 positions towards soft and 15 to firm. I have them set 2 places back towards soft.
Obviously I suspect the ride is not as cushioned as the original Bilstein Air Springs? However, at 17 years of age and given the prohibitive cost of OEM replacements, the aging Bilstein Dampers were becoming increasingly poor? All of the alternative air springs do not offer the CATS handling, so in my opinion, Coilovers become an option?
I would certainly recommend the BC Racing BR Series coilovers!
Thank you! Is yours an XJR? I don't know if it's set up different and the BC racing doesn't specifically mention the xjr.
No, 3.5 V8 long wheelbase. I would imagine that you would bias your ride more towards firm to replicate your XJR ride?
