X350 XJR remote, locks, windows, valet mode
I had my Rear Electronic Module refurbished. Company said they had to replace the motherboard.
Also firm rain shower seems to have messed up things a bit like the fuel gauge died, but came back after a while.
Afterwards not working:
Remote keyfob only locks (which I don't for the alarm when opening with the blade); also trunk can only be opened with key blade
Windows and sunroof can't be opened.
It is stuck in valet mode: method of opening trunk with key blade to lift valet mode doesn't work / doesn't stick. Glove box can't be opened. Then again I only seem to be able to close the trunk if I first push the glove box button that prompts the valet mode message.
Jaguar garage working on a blown air pipe said FEM is probably to blame; after my remark on the refurbished REM, that they never work with refurbished REMs and that's probably the one to blame, and that valet mode and windows operation are on different systems.
Should the REM be reprogrammed? It seems to work ok on the fuel supply side. Or do I need a new FEM? Or are a few of those systems on the same fuse?
I'd love to get this cat functioning normally again.
I tried reading the Electrical Guide for hints but not really sure what to look for.

Restricted performance message: had first a broken fuel pump replaced, message stayed; local mechanic concluded REM was shot, sent it to a company to have it refurbished (that company put a new motherboard in it). We thought rain was a possible cause, as underneath the backseat passenger side it was very wet. Mechanic resealed all around the car; couldn't do the sunroof for some reason though.
I suggest that you need to check all earths that may be corroded from water ingress.
Sunroofs can leak and fortunately I do not have one so can;t be more specific about likely areas.
