Default X351 rear strut compatibility

Hi all,
I have a quick question and couldn't find answer for it.
Is rear strut from x351 compatible with x350?
I bought used strut for my x350 (supposed to be from last production model whatever that means) and after inspection it looks like one from x351.
Can I fit it into my x350 or should I go back to the seller? 🤔

probably will work, same mount pattern and the rest of the 351 rear suspension is identical anyways.

To my knowledge, which is hardly extensive, the X351 changes were mostly cosmetic, weren't they? Along with the electronics inside. Mechanically nothing significant.

Thanks xsalty So there was a change to the CATS function within the strut x350/x358 to x351? Maybe a first check is resistance across the CATS solenoid, or are the number of wires different?

I have purchased rear shocks off a wrecked x350 before (bad rear hit) where they went full stiff when installed, always going broke saving money
