X358 Portfolio visits the body shop
This post is prompted by EsRay who says he can’t walk away without a backward glance. I agreed.
I have regular body shop that I visit when I need anything done. I took the Port in today- I had a very minor bend in the flair around the fron passenger tire from an air spring failure. You know what happens- you turn too sharply and the flair grabs the tire and it creates a little defect in the flair.
George at the body shop told me to bring her in and he would dolly it out for me. It didn’t take long at all. But as they drove her out of the bay all the guys who worked there wanted to look and see the car. They had stories about the “one that got away” and I should have bought one, etc. it was such a reminder that the car, though old, is nouveau and has such a presence that it demands attention everywhere it goes.
Two years+ and loving it! Soon to turn over 55k.
