My wife recently inherited a 93 XJ6. Had a fuel leak that was easily fixed but now it stutters and missed at around 2500 rpm. Also stutters and misses during moderate acceleration to the pedal. There is no rough idle or hard starting. Had a Ford ( of course) that presented the same way and I replaced the plugs and wires which fixed the problem. Did the same to this car with no positive result. Rotor and cap show wear so that is my next move. Fuel filter is good also. Wondering if anyone here has any ideas to help me out with this gem. Car is in quite good shape otherwise. I'm very new to Jags and their specific personalities. Many thanks!
