Hello XJ owners,
My hood latches down fine on the driver side, however, the passenger side doesn't latch down and the hood is raised about 1.5" on that side.
Any advice on how to adjust the passenger side?

I just had do this on mine the other day...same side, and wouldn't 'press' down to latch like the driver side.

First, check to make sure the latch works, press a screwdriver onto the latch face and see if it 'locks' upon rotation. If so, release the hood from inside again, and simply screw down the little bumper closest to the latch...I think mine needed only a 1/2 turn clockwise (into the car) to allow the hood to latch on that side. Its really just a trial and error so it latches, and the gap between the fender is nice and level.
