XJ8 Mesh Grille Inserts
I received my upper and lower mesh grille inserts today, but there was no installation instructions except for:
You can easily install it yourself!
Simply remove bottom Grill and install mesh. Remove top grille, install and reattach.
That's like a cake recipe that says: mix cake, bake!
Anyone had any experience installing the mesh inserts on an XJ8? Any tips?
Thanks

I had my supplier (Mina Gallery) on the phone as they were so tight I thought I had the wrong size.
Anyways, if no one else has them on hand I have a set of install instructions buried somewhere in my lock up.I will copy and mail you a set/scan email.
In the meantime try this old link on here...

No verbiage, just pics...

If I recall, releasing the stock grill frame's lower 'clips' was a snag for me. The 'release points' can be seen in the third photo, on top of bumper, to the inside of the headlamps.

Here are the instructions for the upper grille. I bought some after market ones last year and was convinced they were the wrong size as they were a real struggle but I got there in the end.
We were able to install the top grille inserts - It looks remarkably better, and I'll have some pics shortly. The bottom is an SOB! We gave up, so if anyone has instructions for the bottom grille inserts, I'd really appreciate it
Thanks
Thanks
