From all the great information gleaned from this site,as well as the Jaguar shop manual, the answer to your question is yes.
Please, I am sorry to be such a pain, but what do these hoses look like? I cannot see/find hoses leading from the heater core (where is that)? Do they go directly to the radiator? Where, at the top, bottom, where, please? Also, is the maximum setting for heat 35 degrees C? I ask, because that appears to be all I can get? I cannot tell if the heater is working or not, because the air in my basement parking area is probably around 50 degrees C, so no heat ever comes out of the vents!
Do I have to remove anything to see this heater core, please? What do the hoses look like - Are they rubber? Do the hoses go from this core to the radiator or to the engine block, please? I cannot find these hoses...…I feel so dumb!
Wingrider, I can see two rubber hoses right next to each other coming out from behind my engine on the passenger side and going right up the bulkhead under the tray to which my wipers are attached? If these are the correct hoses, should I be trying to disconnect them at the end attached behind my engine or at the top connection? It appears to be very difficult to get at either end!

Reason: addition
Try using an auxiliary pump, to back flush distilled water from the jug or a bucket.
streamsaver....... I have periods when I can work on the Jag. I got everything off and cleaned all the covers & parts. While things were off, I flushed the engine, radiator & heater core. I used a hose but immediately blew everything out with compressed air. I cleaned the engine. I had decided to change the battery, so I cleaned the boot and added Hercules bed liner in part of it.
I'm ready to return to the thermostat. My thermostat is not assembled. I've attached two dwgs (same) except one shows it assembled, one not assembled. My old thermostat was impossible to get apart without destroying it. Do I have to compress it prior to installing it? Is there a detail for that?
Thanks streamsaver Shown assembled Shown unassembled
The few videos on Youtube don't show the 350 & show them already assembled.
Need help identifying where this goes.
I have a photo showing a wire that screws into something. I have another photo showing where I think it might go, however,
it's still routed as it was, and doesn't reach this area. Can someone tell me, or show me where it goes? Thanks, streamsaver
I checked out the other side and have the same loose part. At some time, I assume, the hydraulics must have been changed. There is no place to attach them. Thanks, Gary
