Hello All,

I just purchased a low mileage 2006 XJ8 VDP...very much looking forward to getting to know the car and contributing to this forum. Prior to my purchase I lurked here and found some great information...thanks to all of you that unknowingly assisted me with my purchasing decision.

A couple of questions:
1) What is the best place to purchase the new NAV disc?
2) Is anyone aware of a kit or process that will extend the driver's seat rails a bit to allow for an extra inch or two of seat travel? (I'm tall.)

Sorry for busting in with questions right away. I look forward to being involved with the forum and assisting others when possible.

Congrats on the new car.

1) www.navteq.com - it's $199. Dealer should be able to get it as well. There was also a link on the jaguar web site, but with the new design all info about the 2004-2008 models is gone.

2) No idea, but you can try adjsting the pedals as well as the seat.

 

Perhaps the DVD can be copied (not condoning unauthorized copies of copy-write material) and sold to a few people to lower the cost of a new DVD and update some older copies current owners are using?
