XJR Purchase?
I'm considering buying a 04 or newer XJR with less then 40k miles and extended warranty and most likely the 20" Sepangs. Does anyone know of any problem areas I should look at? Is there any improvements in the '05s vs the '04s? My biggest thing is the in-service date so the extended warranty lasts as long as possible. Thanks for the advice!

I just bought an 04 XJR with 30,000 miles (Adaptive Cruise, Nav, CDC, Rear Entertainment) for $36,000. Haven't had it long enough to really help, other than to recommend using one of the popular VIN history sites, check with the local Jag dealership for service history (if you're extra polite, they'll pull the full history for you). There are a lot of cars on the market which have been in accidents, so be thorough with your research.

i have a 2004 XJR with 20" sipangs myself. could not have bought a better vehicle. no problems yet except for a hood sensor problem. jag cert is the way to go for sure. wouldn't buy one without. takes care of all the little things that makes each one special. good luck! wonderful ride.
