Hello,

I have a 99 XJR The fans do not ever come on. I have read numerous threads about the fans. I am assuming that the fan relay controller is the issue?
If I understand correctly the fan control modules activate 2 relays 1 for each fan.

I am wondering if the 2 relays in the attached photo are the fan relays?

Also if I understand correctly the fan control module is buried somewhere under the left headlights?

What is the easiest way to access it?

PS I checked the fuses and they are good. I haven't had the opportunity to do the 100 ohm resistor test yet.

 

I installed a 100 ohm resistor across the pins of the temp sensor plug and still no fans.
