Is your X350/8 your daily driver?
I want to make a poll to tell future members how many of us drive our X350/8 on a daily basis.
Please vote "Yes" if you drive your Jaguar anytime weather is permissible. I drive my Jaguar in light snow; but in big storms, I drive my 2007 Lincoln MKZ AWD.
Feel free to add comments.

Where is just the plain old "yes" option? I drive mine daily as a work rig. I have an extra set of snow wheels and tires for the winter. In other words, I don't drive anything else. I'm looking to possibly purchase a second Jaguar to, yes, drive everyday also. More importantly as a dedicated family car.

We have 3 cars. The Jag is mostly for Summer use but I will drive it in good Winter weather.
I use the truck, Dodge Dakota Magnum V8, for most errands many of which are to Home Depot.
The 3rd car is a Toyota Corolla Sport and there is nothing sporty about it. Very under-powered.

Although my X350 is a daily driver, my wife also has a VW New Beetle, so the daily domestic stuff gets shared between these two cars. I try not to use the Jaguar in winter if there is a lot of salt on the roads, but it is always on my driveway ready to go.
Yes from me, she's my daily driver all year round in all sorts of weather.
I bought her just around 2 and a half years ago with 61k on the clock, now sitting at approx 103k miles

She's used for short start / stop journeys and longer runs, day n night in all kinds of weather, although really carefully and tentatively in ice / snow.
She visits quarries of all places due to my work. These are generally large dusty / mucky holes in the ground where dirt n dust fly about everywhere.....The roads ( if you can call them that ) are no more than gravel tracks with potholes, lumps n bumps.......so not good.
The first attachment an example of one of the sites.....
The second one is the exhibition I was involved with last week
I try to look after her the best I can but it's tough. She's been brilliant and very reliable never letting me down so far, long may that continue

It's my daily driver for a 92 mile one way commute. I found that my range is now about 570 or so miles to empty assuming about a 27 mpg. Given the performance and comfort level afforded by the XJ8 it's a really nice commuter car. I like to use my cars for myself, not save them for a future owner.
Yes, it is a 2008 XJR with 85000 miles, just got back from a 2100 mile road trip, averaged 57MPH and 22 MPG. Speeds on the interstate were between 75 and 90MPH. Love this car and it loves to run.

Daily driver? I'd like it to be. Right now, however, it has an overheating problem and my wife insisted I keep her mini-van for forays to flea markets and such. Guess that was a good idea as the van is now her primary transport untill I figure out why the SC coolant pump isn't running with the ignition on.
