Down here, NO Pollen Filter for that year, and I seem to remember?? the real late X308 (2002 onwards) were the first to get them in the XJ Series.

Of course, other markets may have got them earlier.

 

 

My X300 has a (very simple kind of ...) OEM pollen filter
