I bought a 1994 xjs from a guy because he did not want to spend the $1,500 to repair the accumulator and burnt out pump on the teves brake system. 1st thing i did was to replace both. I have to bleed the system. Stupid question is..... I have access to parts off of a 95 with non teves brakes. After searching for the teves accumulator and pump, I realized that those parts are hard to find and costly when you do find them. Accumulators are basically gas charged bulbs that have a limited lifespan. I see 1995 New Old Stock on eBay that are new but worthless " limited lifespan"....back to the stupid question........ Do I buy the non teves stuff off the 1995 xj6 in anticipation of converting to a system not quite so obsolete? If so, what all parts do I need????
