1995 x300 Left Front Signals.Lamps don't work
ok, looking at the factory wiring diagram the only wires going to the BL-1 connector are the front left signal lamp wires, on pin 4 and pin 6 , side marker pin 3 and fog lamp pin 2 where are pins 1,5,7?? where do those go?
Pin 4 ( green ) turn signal power
Pin 6 ( green / yellow ) turn signal power 2nd bulb
The repeater is the turn signal behind your front tires
You can see 12 volts but have enough resistance to not properly power the bulb

Work on what you need first and that being the turn signal
2 is fog light power ( red / orange )
3 is side marker lamp power ( red / pink )
After the change in design the pin 4 and 6 had a wire color change which may not be accurately reflected on the vehicle
The change was for the left
4 ( Green / Purple )
6 ( Green / Yellow )
and the right
4 ( Green )
6 ( Green / White )

3 is side marker lamp power ( red / pink )

So, I have narrowed the problem down to the connector, the brown one to be exact. The power goes into the connector at the brown/green wire and red wire when parking lamps are called for but no power out from the box. The box works as I swap it to the opposite side and it works fine.
That pin out connector you showed me for the light connector above. Is the same available for that brown connector to the lamp control box???
Thanks
Dan

Looking as I have the pin out on a piece of paper in the garage
My black connector was missing and they twisted the wires together and wrapped in electrical tape , failed
Should have taken a picture for the hall of shame

OK
I found the culprit for the signals on left side!!!! The brown/green power feed wire to the left lamp control box has a break in it............ I probed 12 V on it and I got the signals working!!!
Still am not getting the side marker lamps to come on though.............. from the diagram the red wire from the lamp switch is the "Trigger" wire........... then it energizes the coil inside the box to close the relay and give power to the red/purple and other red wires for the side marker and pilot lamp.

The lamps behind the front tires can get corrosion as the wires enter the lamp base connector
Hard to get to and repair , you have to remove the wheel well liner
The lamp base connector is the same as the connector for the trunk dome lights lamp base mounted to the trunk lid so you have a swapping option
The connector is a EV1 series of connectors and seems to be able to order from the local auto parts store
I'll look before posting a picture of the connector to be sure it's the correct one
They use these connectors for the individual fuel injectors
I have a replacement wheel liner that was missing on mine but have not installed yet
The brown connector is probably only used on the early X300s with the multiple lamp control modules instead of the single
