Since my car has been sitting for almost 6 months now I want to oil and lube it up. I was going to flush all the oil and thinking of replacing it with synthetic amsoil. I'm not going to flush the transmission oil because I heard on old cars the transmission can get clogged. Also I could use suggestions on what parts to lube and anything else that should be done. I'll check the brake fluid and coolant. My jaguar is almost at 100,000 miles but I had the 95,000 mile service done 8 months ago. Where they replaced the oil filter, flushed my oil, coolant, power steering and fluids. It was at a good shop and they purple cleaned the engine and transmission. I was going to take it back to them in April to do service and brakes but I really want to learn how to do the basic maintenance and service on my own. It is great all my electricals work so now I want to get back to driving it confidently. Thanks for all the help, I'm getting back on track after a long wet winter.
