1996 XJ6 No Start
I had the Jag at a no touch cash wash washed the car would not start after left the car for a few days to dry out it cranked used some starter fluid and it would turn over and die and now just cranks.
I pulled the following data using a elm327 P0000 no self diagnostic failure indicated, fuel system1 open loop, fuel system 2 open loop and got load 0. I am getting no action on the tach will start looking at the electrical diagrams new to Jags so any and all advise is welcome already did a few searches on the forum.

Not sure what to make of the scan data you've reported but the "no action" from the tach suggests a failure of the crank position sensor.
Common problem.
As guesses go, replacing the CPS wouldn't be far fetched.
Other will chime in.
Cheers

I agee with Doug. If you get the engine to turn over and all instruments and alert lights are on then the CPS is most certainly it. The computer doesn't know the engine is turning over. Power to the starter is direct an separate from the computer.
Easy job. Did mine just recently. Bigest part of the job is understanding how to work the disconnect plug. The wheel sensors use the same plug and one is handy on the left side of the engine bay just under the plastic at the top of the left fender. Study that plug or you will never get the one off at the CPS where it is very difficult to see.
