1997 XJ-6 Idles high

1997 XJ-6 Idles high

All of the sudden she's idling at about 1600 RPMs when in park. On the freeway, when I put it in neutral it will idle at about 3k. Any ideas?

A thorough cleaning of the throttle body will probably fix you up.

That would be the first thing to do, if that doesn't cure your problems then it might be a vacuum leak.
