Having trouble separating the seats from power seat tracks on a 1997 XJ6. Any tips?

 

Hmmm.....I've not seen any threads on this. Not to say they aren't here, somewhere, but I've had the driver's seat in and out several times, have R&R'd the leather skin once, and I recall XJREngineer, I believe it was, transferred both skin and foam from his seat to one from a breaker; I believe due to a broken mounting point.

No help in your quest, but I am curious why you intend separating the seat from the tracks?
