1997 XJ6L Removal if trunk hinge

Please delete this post, it's a duplicate made in error
It seems I might have to remove the left trunk hinge to slide my fuel tank out far enough to change my fuel pump?
Has anyone done this?
I would think removing that hing would be easy.
Any advice would help.
Maybe there is no need but I see interference with hinge on lefy of car and fuel filler/vent tube. Tank should easily slide out if hinge was removed.
