is 3 too many?
I have the greedy madness, but the insight to recognise it.
I have a nice, sorted, smooth 3.2 as per my avatar photo.
I recently bought a navy blue XJR manual, which is off the road but getting better all the time.
Now this has popped up - a SWB V12
Jaguar Other Daimler V12 1995 | Trade Me.
the SWBs are scarce in NZ, usually the long wheel bases come up for sale. So i am, again, tempted, and I guess I could then answer my own previous post as to which I prefer, XJR or 6 litre V12. I have a spare set of new Asteroid wheels I could put on the V12, and store the turbines.
However, buying a 3rd X300 would be an inconsiderate move, and I would have to sell the 3.2, because otherwise I will start getting labelled.
And it is hard to justify 3 old Jags as company cars to the taxman, although two genuinely are - I either use one or the other.
Anyway, a tempting proposition.

You are just begining.
I had 9 at one time, plus the 2 belonging to the kids.
Now, old age, arthritis, missing leg, "common sense", has me down to 2. Both S types, and very simple for me to live with now.
Get on with it mate, a V12 is soooooo special, especially those last ones.

AL,
Three's not too many! Just be prepared to explain to (many) people that they are NOT all the same. They are like your kids. Each has it's unique qualities. And you love them all.
Myself, I've got two kids, and two Jags would probably be the right number for me. But which two?? And I still don't have an XJS! "Bugga".
