Ive just been emailed this apparently its off an American site, which one I dont know....

Bumper corner light suggests me it's X308 , I mean poor X308

Not quite sure why you would do this to an executive saloon even if a lesser X308

But each to there own......

I will just say the guy didnt get permission to start it and as it created quited a din when running as well as all the smoke, some pompus organiser asked him to leave the grounds. So ihe just drove it off the grounds.

Apparently the megasquirt (if I remember from a plane) in the boot was a drunken win on eBay one night....

I remember back in about 1967 or so I was a lowly aircraft mechanic (helicopters) in the Royal Navy and an Artificer (that's a kind of fast track rank for engineering geniuses) decided to put an engine from a Gazelle helicopter into a Ford Anglia van. Just think of the flying car in Harry Potter but a van version of it.
I was never involved in any of the build but I quite often saw it hurtling down the runway on Sundays when there was no flying going on.
It was what you might call, "a bit rapid" but it only ever went in a straight line and had to be manhandled round the corner at the end of the runway for the return trip.
