Hi does anyone know if the 95-97 XJ6 Jaguars have heated glass on the outter mirrors? I know they do sell the glass standard and heated. I was once told by Jaguar tech that they wernet avaliable on the US jagauar models. I am looking to have them tinted if thats possible, please let me know if Anyone knows anything, thanks.

 

I am fairly certain this was not a US option. I don't have anything definitive either way.

 

My '95 XJR has heated outside mirrors. They heat up when the rear defogger is switched on. I don't know if the other models had this feature or not.

Door mirror heater relay is fitted to the RH heelboard fuse/relay box (figure 12.3 in electrical guide for MY 1996 sedan range)
Violet relay in a blue (CA54) relay base.

If the relay is there, then I would guess you have heated door mirrors and are operated with the rear window heated glass switch as previously stated.
