I worked for an independent Jag Repair facility for several years as a service manager. I have seen my share of unusual electrics- yet this recent 95 Vanden Plas problem takes the cake for automotive personality.
Turn off the key, remove it from the ignition, and step out of the car. The engine shuts off only after closing the door (interior lamp goes off).
Turn on engine and headlamps- turn off key and remove it. While sitting in car- engine still runs- untill you turn off headlamps.
Same with parking lamps. I have not yet tried the glove box lamp, yet the Jag belongs to my CPA. Help me pay for my taxes this year with a solution for my CPA's Jag-onomoly!
