Does anyone know, if the 95 xj6 or, any jaguar around that year, had wheel opening mouldings, When i was browsing through some webs the other night I noticed a 95xj6 in red, it had the wheel opening mouldings and they were chrome,I thought it made the car look real sharp,i dont know if the car was from the US or UK,If they were in the UK i think i would like to get them, does anyone know, Thank you.

 

Are you talking about the little circular cat emblem that fits in the center of the wheel?

If so these are available from several sources and in several trim colors. My blue jag has silver trim and my green jag has green trim. I have a set of red ones that I will switch out on the blue car later.

 

The one's you speak of were an owner/dealer add on, not factory. Very popular on Mercedes, Jaguar's etc....not my cup "o" tea if you will but to each his/her own. Beware when buying a car with these that they are not "hiding" any rust....not that some unscrupulous owner would ever do such a thing!

A search on eBay UK for 'Jaguar chrome wheel arch' just returned 15 listings.

Like running boards on trucks, wheel arch mouldings like these are infamous for trapping water, and causing rust. Unless you live in a dry climate, I wouldn't put them on...
