95 xj6 electrical issues
OK guys in addition to the 96 I'm having problems with I also have a 95 that runs just fine.. My problem that I'm needing help with this one is that the seats, power locks, interior lights, and lastly the front driver's side window won't let down with the switch. The seats will work if I run a straight wire to the motors. The driver's side window is the same way. The locks and interior lights I have not tried to straight wire. I've tried changing the body processor, checked all of the fuses, changed the switch box in the driver's door. I'm wondering if there are specific relays for each of them that I simply Can't find the location of.. Any suggestions on figuring out these issues..?

Hi goodgame,
You can download the 1995 X300 Electrical Guide here:

The manual has diagrams showing the locations of electronic modules, relays and fuseboxes, grounds/earths, etc. It also has schematics of all the circuitry in the car, which should help you find any common points that could affect all the circuits with problems, such as an electrical connector or electronic module. My first suspect would have been the Body Processor Module (BPM), since I think it may be involved in all the circuits you mention, but since you've tried another BPM you may have ruled that out. Hopefully the schematics will reveal a relay, fuse or electrical connector that is common to all those circuits.
Cheers,
Don

It sounds like you need to check the relays. Just about every electrical function in the car has a relay controlling it. They are under the seats, the heelboard fusebox, and trunk. Also check for breaks in the wires.
