Buy a wiring diagram. Ground for relay is through the transmission rotary switch if I recall correctly...that means it could be just the gear selector cable coming apart, or out of adjustment (probably because it is coming apart and you didn't see where). The rotary switch is like $900 new. Inertia switch tripped also disables cranking, RF footwell.
