Default 96 XJR diff question - RESOLVED

I'm having differential issues.
I think the output shafts are shot I can see play in them and I'm getting a terrible knocking when I make a right.

Lift the car up and noticed that the wheels are turning against each other.
And we can hear what sounds like gears and cogs moving.

Question is does the 96 X JR come with the limited slip differential?
I thought all xj12 and Xjr had Limited slip?

From what I can see on the back of the different says 15hu-010-022

Another thing I noticed was the mono strut is not on this car I thought those all came on those as well?

Found the answer to my own question inform searcH.

The LSD though does not seem to be working very well.

And the output shafts on the driver side are definitely shot

As you have discovered, yes the XJR6 has an LSD, and as an interesting aside is the last model to. The X308 moved to a open differential that utilizes its traction control to control wheel slip as I understand.

Also, the X300 didn't come with the "monostrut" as is found on the later X308 models. Although it has been said that some late X300s may have been fitted with the later monostrut as a warantee fix for some suspension irregularities and the manual transmission XJR6 may have had it.

Some more info on the monostrut:

I was just reading the 1995 introduction to the X300.
it looks like the mono strut was only on manual xjrs.
which never made it to the side of the world.
