If anyone happens to have a AJ16 4.0/3.2 throttle body handy ( not supercharged) could you measure the attaching bolt spacings please? I'm wondering if it would fit on the earlier Series 3 XK 4.2 manifold for a megasquirt project I'm contemplating.

The AJ16 TB seems the easiest way to get the throttle position sensor and a slightly larger throttle in the process.

 

Tb on the sc or na car bolt up the same except the coolant hose connections are in a different place. take a look at a sc tb i bored out, it is huge, this is good for all out racing applications. Had to take it off because i do mostly city driving and it was a pain to control for stop and go driving as you had to baby the gas pedal, but was great for all out racing. 7.7 cm width and 9cm length, measured from outer edge to outer edge of bolt pattern/hole. the center pic shows how much larger the bore is with the old plate inserted over the new plate for comparison.

 

The bolt spacing is 64mm between centres in one plane and 77mm in the perpendicular plane. I know these values are accurate, as I've machined and adaptor to fit the throttle body and used these values.
