If they BOTH have distributors (AJ6) then they are either from XJ-S or XJ40. The cars in this section of the forum have AJ16 and use ON-PLUG coils.

(I like the twin engine MEDUSA)

Let me know when you get the valve stem seals!!!

In this section for the X300 series model has the AJ16 engine

The AJ6 engine is for the earlier X40 model .

So Robert, you built the Medusa! 2 AJ6 engines. Wow. A 7.6 litre I12 engine. You know you could have just used a single V12! But this looks like so much more fun.

Hi Bob , I GOT THE SEALS !....thank you so much , veronica had a fun time getting through customs with her accidentally bringing her daughters passport ! but after a hour long car search she was through and i am very happy to have 48 seals to do my two engines with , i also sourced some head gaskets at 16 quid each , so i am going to take off the heads ,and skim them A LOT to bring the cr up ,and get better economy .

regards
robert.
