Default alarm is turning against me! help!!!!

1995 xj6 - USA

After setting off my alarm accidentally, I came back and tried to start the car but it WILL NOT START. The ignition WILL NOT FIRE, although the electrics come on. The alarm has somehow immobilized my car. This is not fun. Do I need to hook up an OBD11 device and clear a code ?/

You may have to try a hard reboot to reset the alarm system.

I unhooked the battery for 3 mins, then rehooked it . As I opened the car door, the alarm went off... The doors were UNLOCKED.

So, Im gonna have my friend check it out w his OBD1 sensor tomarrow and maybe use a reset code provider by jaguar.
