I was gone for 6 weeks and when I came home, the battery was dead. I charged it up outside of the car and put it in last night. Today the lights are flashing, window washers have a mind of their own. head lights won't turn off. Any ideas out there?

 

did you... put it in the wrong polarity?

 

I reckon its the Aliens for New Years, they apparently are amazed at the technology in the X300????.

I have NO fix as such, just a suggestion, and hoping the polarity question is a NO.

Place the drivers window DOWN, disconnect the battery, wait a few minutes. I usually consume some beers, but other alcohol intake will suffice. Reconnect the battery, TIGHTEN the terminal CAREFULLY. Using the remote, LOCK the car, then UNLOCK the car, this works on mine and the 2 S Types perfectly.

The reason for the window down is simple. If the Aliens have control, you might get locked OUT, and that is simply not good. Happened to me once, and a brick got me in, but a tad messy.

Someone wiser than me may have other suggestions, and once time zones align, Aliens again, more answers will flow.

Sounds like a suspect battery to me, weak batteries can do very strange things on these cars, I suggest getting a new one!
