Default Any Rose Bronze color owners?

back in 95 my father surprised my mother with a Rose Bronze colored VDP for valentines day.....now it may not have been my cup of tea....but she loved the **** out of the color and we got compliments on it every 2 minutes. it was a pink/purple color that they only made for that 1 year.

the car was a lease and it went back (car had too many problems, towed too many times, they didnt want to buy it)......but my mother is still obsessed with the color. every new car they get...she always picks out the color thats even slightly closest to it...but still disappointed its not the same color.

any of you Rose Bronze owners here? are there even any cars left on the road?

I would bet there are still some rose bronze sedans out there, although I suspect that color is rare. My chart says that color was only available for the VDP and XJ12. Perhaps more likely to find an XJS in rose bronze, which in my opinion looks great in that color. I would also bet you'd find rose bronze XJS owners in the other section, who are very happy with the color! Any XJ sedan in that color would probably be a keeper because of its rarity.

I remember seeing that color on one car back a few years ago at the dealer. The car was pretty beat but still neat to see that color. I think it was a VDP.

Well congrats to you, Robert! May we see a picture or two? I believe rose bronze was only offered in 1995 MY, and mostly seen on the xjs. A rare find!

Yes, I actually just bought a 1995 XJ6 VDP Rose Brinze from the original owner. Beautiful car.

Do a search here for user "Qvhk". He has an XJR in that colour in Hong Kong and has posted photos of it.

Many years ago a dealer near me had a Jag on his forecourt in this colour, and I'm pretty sure it was an xj40, it stood head and shoulders above all his other offerings.

Thanks for sharing the photos. Good to revisit these rare beauties. Yours must be in particularly perfect condition and so worthy of its cost! Its a show car.
