Default anyone supercharged the 3.2 x300 sport???

i have all the gear here, pipework, charger, inlet, injectors etc etc,
now i wonder is, although its the same block as the 4.0, is there any cam differnce? also who do you recommend re map the software to cope with the added fuel needed??
as far as i can see its just all bolt on, play with software and away we go??
thoughts please folks

You will need a wide band O2 sensor to determine air/fuel ratios. I think you could go up in stages: 4lbs intially, then not more than 2lbs at a time. A dyno would be the way to go on this kind of project. This is just old fashioned hot rodding. Although you'd do yourself a favor by first getting all the specs on R versions of this engine. I am naturally asperated so I can't cant help you here.

The XJR/6 had a different block, head, intake valves, camshafts, MAF, lower compression. etc versus a N/A 4.0 engine. I'm not sure what, or how significant, the differences were......or what the differences are between a 3.2 and a 4.0

You can buy an nice XJR/6 for peanuts these days. Hint hint . (You asked for thoughts....there's mine !)

Good luck
DD

I think you would be money and aggravation ahead just to get the R instead of turning a NA into one...the engine set up has got to be right for supercharging.
