Anyone used jaguarfuelinjectorservice.com?
Has anyone used this guy in Jacksonville?
Looks promising...
www.jaguarfuelinjectorservice.com
With that said, my car has 108,*** on it. I don't believe they've ever been serviced.
What is typical mileage for this service?

I haven't but it is interesting that he specializes in "Jaguar" injectors, and would be curious to know if there is anything special about the injectors used on the X300.
The GM 3800 engine crowd likes Mr Injector - Home quite a bit as well and was who I was planning to send my XJR and Buick Riviera injectors in for service.
But again, if there is a benefit to using this guy due to some sort of Jag injector expertise or there is something special about the Jag injectors, that might be a good alternative.
Will be curious to hear from anyone that has used the Jaguar Injector Service too.

I've used that company several times. He does a variety of injectors, not just Jag. I don't think there's anything Jag-specific about the Jag injectors.
Anyhow....
Dave is a great guy. He always gives a report detailing before and after flow rates, spray patterns, etc. Fast service, fair pricing. If you're trying to zero-in on an odd running problem, he'll help you. He often contributes to on-line Jag discussions.
I'm sure there are many good injector outfits but I've stuck with Dave over the years. He's never given me any reason to leave, but has given several reasons to stay.
Cheers

There's definitely nothing unique about the fuel injectors used on the Jaguar XJ40s and X300s. They're typical Bosch/Lucas parts. I cleaned and reconditioned our injectors for around $50.00 using methods I found online:

I'm sure a commercial service would do an even better job, and $108.00 sounds like a very fair price to me as long as it includes new filters and O-rings.
For more information on the injectors, see Part 2 of this series, which is based on our late XJ40 but includes X300 injectors in the research:

Something to be prepared for is that the injector electrical connectors become brittle with age and may fall apart when you try to disconnect them. They're just standard Bosch EV1 connectors, readily available from many sources. Here's how I replaced a couple of ours:

I'll have to go back and look at my numbers for the exact figure, but I recall that in my fuel economy tests our mileage improved 1-2 mpg after cleaning the injectors, so it's well worth it, and regardless of actual mileage traveled, injectors that are two decades old have had a lot of time to collect deposits that affect performance.
Cheers,
Don
