Symptom

after battery discharge, i charged the battery and started engine and also drove.
but the audio is not worked. it does not work power on and other buttons.
is there anti theft function? or any other setup?

some suggested that i put the ejcect(tape) button.
but how? what times? ---- this is not details.


if you have any ideas, please answer to me............

 

There is a security code you can put back into the stereo head

The security code is obtained from some other source other then then Jaguar as they don't maintain the list anymore

 

It is worth googling it, as there certainly used to be places where they could tell you the code from your VIN number. Also check in the owners handbook if you have it. The code was originally printed on a small credit card sized card, which might still be there.

 

You can also find advertisers on eBay that charge about 1GBP, you provide them with the serial number and they send you the code.
Just enter Jaguar radio codes.

If you reversed the battery charger cable clamps it will blow a couple of fuses , this will also happen if you install the battery in backwards

One of the fuses is for the stereo , there are 3 fuses for the stereo

# 8 / 15 amp trunk fuse box

# 10 / 5 amp trunk fuse box

# 1 / 25 amp trunk fuse box ( for the stereo premium option separate power amplifier )
