Greetings to All, I am MATMD a 1995 Jaguar XJR Supercharged Sedan owner. I am attempting to locate the Wiring Harness for the car. Can anyone provide me a assistance and/or a resource to do so?? Time is of the essence. I must travel soon and need to ascertain it for my mechanic to effect the repairs.

Again this is the wiring harness of the 1995 Jaguar XJR Supercharged Sedan.

You are being waaaay too specific with your search.

Try just searching for something like "X300 wiring harness" which returned about 30 results of differing types. Although tedious to browse through (but you can refine the search in the left pane) you may just want to search for something like "Jaguar wiring harness" and then add a model year.

As someone else noted in your other thread asking about this issue, I too am unsure if the wiring harness for a normal X300, VDP and/or XJR are the same or differ. You may have to do some research in the parts catalog to see if the harness differs significantly. Since there are several sub-harnesses, it may not matter depending on which harness you need. It will take some research on your part and likely some trial-and-error.

As he said; way too specific. Also there are several wiring harness from
different areas on ebay. Have you tried Coventry West? Land Auto in Hesperia< Ca. may be able to help you. Last time I looked they had an
XJR on their lot.

If you Google Jaguar Parts you can find some large junkyards to call

 

ALCON, I also posted 1995 Jaguar XJR Need Wiring Harness. I will be more specific once I can discuss with my mechanic. In the interim He did mention it is the electrical harness that connects to the transmission and powers the sensors inside of the tranny to allow the tranny sensors to shift the gears correctly. Said that the last 5 numbers of the VIN are critical to ascertaining the right part.

The last six of the VIN numbers on my vehicle are: 749269

FYI my other post is the same as this one calling for the 1995 Jaguar XJR Need Wiring Harness...

al_roethlisberger and paulZ...I agree in my haste to locate the harness I was a bit anxious and You gents are most correct in that I was being waaaay too specific with my search there on eBay. I am now having some success seeing the various harnesses there but nothing showing the 1995 exactly.

I am inclined to delete this ad that reads "BDA 1995 Jaguar XJR" for simplicity sake and just keep monitoring the 1995 Jaguar XJR Need Wiring Harness post in this forum. So If we can move over to just that one post it would probably be best...If you don't mind. Thanks Again, Gents
