Default blue relay

does anyone know what the blue relay in the rear N/S kickboard does?
if i open the rear N/S door the relay goes mad. clicking away like a mad..
only happens with N/S rear door.
N/S= left hand side of car ie the steering wheel on the right, the correct side of the car for a steering wheel

cheers

Happens on my '95 VDP as well. I just haven't gotten around to replacing it yet.

Oh, any my steering wheel is on the left side of the car, the correct side. I believe you have that mistaken. ;-)

I was reading over on Jag-Lovers.org that the relay is not at fault. It's the microswitch in the door.

I haven't taken my door apart yet but will update this when I do.

Default relay

that relay operates the puddle lamps in the doors. The relay can be bad or a micro-switch in the outside door handle. I'm working on the same problem myself
